Now let me first start by saying that I am not…I repeat… NOT complaining. These are just facts.
My podcast has taken off (THANK YOU, JESUS), but it’s taken away from my writing. I haven’t written one sentence in at least a month. So that being said, my personal life has got pretty crazy.
My youngest started a new job, which I am so proud of her. She is becoming such a beautiful and intelligent young lady.
My husband was admitted to the hospital last week — his birthday week, no less (July 19th).
We drove an hour and a half to see his kidney doctor. We were told that his kidney was working at 3 percent, they were going to admit him, and he needed to start dialysis immediately.
I had to drive home to pick up his things and our daughter from work. Did I mention she got off work at 9:30 pm? I booked a hotel and drove another hour and a half back that same night.
When my daughter and I checked into the hotel, it was 1 am. Oh, …and, the hotel room was gross. (If you want details of my hotel experience, it’s on Yelp, and look up Lillian M.)
I drove three days later to take my daughter to work, and drove back to pick him up on the 20th.
Typically, I don’t work on Sundays. But, I had to reedit, post, and make a promo for this weekend’s episode because I didn’t have time, for obvious reasons.
Though he’s dealing with his issue, Marcus will not let me quit. I will keep taking my behind to the gym to relax, do this podcast, and finish this book!
