Yasha Sterling is ranked in the upper 1% of women who hold the MBA/MCS dual degree. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Jackson State University and an M.B.A. in Marketing and E-Commerce and a Master of Arts in Applied Computer Science, both from Saint Xavier University. She has certifications in Agile, Entrepreneurship/Business, Goal Success, and Workshop Facilitation, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. She is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Agile Program Manager, and a Certified Scrum Master. Yasha keeps a busy schedule by juggling multiple roles, including being a coach, consultant, and international speaker. She is the 2-time best selling author of The Complete Web Business Blueprint and The Complete Web Business Blueprint Workbook. She is also the proud owner of 4 businesses. She is a 2020 Top 50 Tech Leader and has been shortlisted for Woman of the Year. Her book is currently nominated for the 2020 Author Academy Award, and her website is currently nominated for an Awwwards Best Website award. In August 2019, she received the Web Guru Award, and in 2016, she received a Values in Action award. In 2015, she won 2 Bravo! Awards for Technical Expertise and Quality, respectively. Between 2011 and 2013, she won awards in email marketing and website design. Moreover, she has single-handedly led the design and development of 54 small business websites and apps. Yasha’s goal is to aid in the fight for African-American to have a voice in technology and be recognized for the value they bring to the industry.
